What to Expect

  • Basic Principles 50 minutes will fly by as you get acquainted with the Basics of Pilates, such as breathing techniques and proper form.
  • Equipment Get familiar with equipment, such as the Reformer, Tower, Barrels and Chair.
  • Experience Flow Get a feel for the structure and pace of a typical Pilates class. Understand how exercises transition from one to the next.
  • Improve Body Awareness Begin to understand how to engage your core muscles effectively as you increase awareness of your body’s alignment, balance, and posture.
  • Access Your Fitness Level Work with me to assess your current fitness level and identify any specific areas of focus or concern. Share what you hope to achieve through Pilates, whether it's improving flexibility, building strength, or reducing stress.
  • Safe Space Build confidence in performing the exercises correctly and safely. Receive positive reinforcement and corrections to ensure proper technique.
  • Enjoy the Experience Enjoy the new experience of Pilates and appreciate the unique aspects of the workout. Feel motivated and excited about continuing with Pilates.
